macedonia church

Norwalk, CT

This landmark yellow brick church features some of the largest and most spectacular stained glass windows in the state of Connecticut. Built by a Methodist congregation in the city where the denomination was founded, it is a fine example of the “Akron Plan” - a modern prototype developed in the late 19th Century. Work was performed by Gill & Gill to Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties for preservation and restoration work. The church was rededicated to great acclaim in 2015.
